The room looked great but it did not live up to it's expectations

The room had a nice atmosphere and look which fitted perfectly with it's storyline. Unfortunately some game elements malfunctioned and somethings needs fixing which made it a bit harder to play. For us some of the puzzles didn't really fit the story. If you like finding things in an escaperoom this room is not really for you as almost everything is bolted to the ground. Overall very sequential room.

Fun to play

We had alot of fun playing this room. The room fitted with the era and the story. The puzzles where nice and diversified and in tune with the story and the time. Good balance between finding and solving puzzles.

Tensful, playful and fun

The room had a nice story and a nice decor. You can play the room in English but there are some elements still in dutch so a basic level of dutch comes in handy. We had a nice chat at the end with the owner, which made our experience even more pleasant. Overall nice diversity of puzzles and a good story line. This location has three rooms and according to the owner you can play them separately. We played the room with 2 and that was doable.

Had some fun

As other reviews say it is a find room to play if you are experienced player and are in the neighborhood of Sittard. Good room for beginners. The host was nice. We decided we didn't want hints given too us unless we asked for them. Unfortunately at 1 point we were asking several times for a hint as we couldn't continue but apparently the hostes didn't hear us and no hint was coming which cost us the time we needed to escape.
This room is very linear and feedback is not always as expected. We don't advise playing this room with alot of people as it is very linear.

Very cool room

This is a very nice room with a good story and nice puzzles. Everything was nicely though through and in theme. The end was really cool. This room has a nice balance between puzzle and experience. You can play the room nicely with 2 players. The service was great and we got some nice tips for other good escaperooms. Overall definitely a must play room.

Ok escaperoom

Not a bad escaperoom. I played this room with my company as Christmas outing. We played against our other coworkers. We played in a team of 5 players. I found at times very little to do with 5 as 3 where busy with a bit which we needed to continue so basically had nothing to do as solving the puzzle with 5 was also not possible and too crowded. We had fun playing the room. Good for people with not much experience with escaperooms.

Good room to get you started

The host was very nice, the story starts before you enter the room. They had put lots of attention to flow and theme. You can't play this room in English. The puzzles are diverse. Unfortunately we didn't escape with the two of us. Overall it was an enjoyable room to play. We had a nice chat with the host afterwards.

Freaking amazing

We had played the other rooms from darkpark in the past and this one, like the others does not disappoint. It's a great room. Less scary than their other rooms but still stays true to the darkpark name. The puzzles were a bit on the easier side for experience players but still really fun to play. Overall a great room.

Had lot's of fun

This is very fun to play room which is suited for beginners. You definitely play this room for the experience and not for the puzzles. A good team work is really important in this room. What I missed in this was a clear coherent story. I can definitely understand that this room was number one sme years back but in my opinion there are currently rooms which are way better.

Nice room

This a fun room, the money heist theme is nicely played out throughout the room. Interesting start. You can play this room even if you don't speak Dutch. We had a nice chat at the end with the host. He even asked what we would change and was open for suggestions. There was nice variety of puzzles.

Terrifyingly awesome

The most scary room we ever played. This is a real experience, not a puzzle room. The decore in the room is great. At some point almost quit because of fear, but glad we continued. The game master helped getting hold of my nerves. Thanks for that!

You should definitely try this room. The level of attention to the details is just amazing in this room. From the decor to the smells.

A fun do room that is very nicely in theme

This is a nice do room with nice variety of puzzles. Even though we finished the room in half the time we had great fun playing it. This room is very suitable for beginners. The style and the puzzles of the room fit the theme perfectly. The end picture is really nice. We also got to watch ourselves play which was fun.

Fun puzzle room that has been upgraded

This is a great room for beginners and bigger groups who are looking for a good time. It has a great variety of puzzles and a nice amount of searching. Definitely playable in parallel without it getting overwhelming. The host was great and let us finish the room as we were close to escaping. We got a great welcome and even got a peek behind the scenes.

A very Magical and whimsical room

The room is very cutely decorated. Everything is in the style. There is definitely a lot to do in wonderland. Perhaps a bit too much for 2 people. But we had a lot of fun doing the room. The hostess is great and give us lot's of extra time to finish the room on our own which was greatly appreciated as it made sure we experienced the whole room. Even though we were late due to traffic we didn't get rushed which was great. This room doesn't have a free parking close by as it is in the center of Leiden, so do go plenty of time before hand.

Fun room to play

A solidly build puzzle room. We simply had fun in this room. Unfortunately this room cannot be played if you don't understand any dutch. This a very good room if you're a beginner. If you're more experienced you will have fun playing the room. We solved this room with 0 hints.

Creepy and awesome

We are really glad we played this room with the two of us as we didn't know it was intended for 4. We did escape with 47 seconds left. One of the scariest rooms we played, which is perfectly in theme. The room starts unexpected. If you are experienced, the room is playable with two, but do inform them beforehand as some puzzles will be slightly modified.

Very scary room with great puzzles and effects. Aka the perfect honeymoon... for a serial killer in you ;-)

Overall this is a nice room. It is still not 100% in English yet. You can play it but you will miss some of the story. Nice variety of puzzles.

Steal of a room

Great room in theme of the series. You do not need to know the series to play the room. Great puzzles and fun action. We had a really nice chat with the hosts. Would definitely recommend this room. Even though we just didn't escape we had a great time playing it.

A great action room with nice puzzles

It was a nice active room where we had to run around alot. Definitely wear comfortable shoes :). The theme was executed perfectly. We had made mistake with our booking and the hosts where nice enough to find a time we could still play the room. Fun start to the room. Make sure to be earlier as parking is hard. It definitely is easier with more than two people, but we still had alot of fun playing it and were just too late.

Really fun to play

This room is well put together. It was really fun to play. The theme is really nicely played through out the room. Really nice puzzles. Well balanced, good amount of searching vs solving. You can play it with two but it is alot. Unfortunately we didn't escape even though we were sooooooo close. Missed one vital clue.

Ok room with a lot of math

Room was nicely set in theme throughout, with a nice hostess. We unfortunately did had some technical difficulties. This room is definitely easier with more people. Puzzles rely heavily on math proficiency.

A decent room with a well executed theme

It was a nice room with lots of puzzles. The room was creepy and cute at the same time. The movie at the beginning is in Dutch but if you don't speak Dutch you can still play this room. We didn't escape within the time but the hostes let us payout the room which was greatly appreciated. We also definitely recommend to play her other room as well.

This is a nice room, the decore was nice. We had a great talk with the hostess. It has nice variety of puzzles and some really fun things in the room. Everything was nicely in theme.

A lot of fun

This was a nice room, nice variety of puzzles. Good for people with less experience with escaperooms. The hostes was very nice. All clues are both in Dutch and English. Overall we enjoyed our time.

Ingenious

Very cool room, nice puzzles. You can play the room in English. As with their other room the host is in character from the moment you see them. Very nice and friendly staff. We would say that the room is definitely easier with 3 or more people but with more time and if you are experienced players you can also play it with 2. We played it with the 2of us and just didn't manage to escape but definitely enjoyed the experience.

Awesome and unique experience

This is a very unique room that we definitely advise doing. The concept is very unique and the puzzles are nice. There is added difficulty to this as part of it is under water. Swimming experience is a must but diving experience is not needed. We played the room with the two of us and it is possible to do but a 3rd person would have helped a lot. The hosts are great and we had a nice talk with them afterwards. Unfortunately we just didn't manage to escape but still enjoyed the room immensely.

Exhilarating

Nice room with a nice build up in the excitement and scariness. You have no padlocks in this room and all the puzzles are nicely Integrated in the room and the story. Fun hosts and we talked over different rooms and designs.
There is no way to tell time in this room. The hosts where open for suggestions and the minor points we had noticed with some of the puzzles are going to be changed.

Scary, thrilling and blood pumping

Lots of puzzles both physical and mental. The story was story was nice and scary but not too scary. We didn't escape but the host let us play the room out and afterwards we talked with the host about different rooms. We definitely suggest playing both rooms from these owners. Both rooms are different in playing style and story. Nice variety of puzzles and very original elements.

Different

The hosts where great. There are several puzzles that provides the same information which we didn't like as much. Puzzles fit the story and the era. The begging was very unexpected and added to the experience.

Great adventure

The room is really nicely designed, puzzles fit the story and the era it is set in perfectly. There are amazingly mechanical puzzles you expect to find in the year 1627. The host was was very welcoming and we had a nice talk afterwards about different escape rooms. Overall we definitely recommend this room. Even though it is for minimum 3 people you can play it with 2 more experience players. Even though we didn't escape (but was really close) we had great fun. At the end the host lets us still experience the rest of the room.

One of the scarier rooms we played. But overall really nice room with a nice variety of puzzles and a great host that was in character from the moment we entered. The puzzles and story fit nicely. It says minimum 3 but can be played with two just let them know it advance.

The beginning of the room sets a level of expectation that does not follow through the room

It's ok for beginners. Puzzels are linear and very one dimensional. The story and theme are nice but not all puzzels fit the era it is set in.

Good room with an interesting ending

The room let's you step into the shoes of a fireman and experience similar hurdles. The hosts are very nice and elevate the experience. Even though the two of us couldn't finish in time, they let us play out the story. It is possible to play with two, but more players is advised.
We wished the theme of the room was even a bit more incoprated throughout the whole experience.

It was a nice room with a nice storyline, very nicely in theme and you learn abit about history which is nice.

Interesting

Nice escape room with interesting puzzles in an original setting. Unfortunately the room can get very loud which made communication very difficult. It specifics that you can play with 2 but that would be very challenging. At some puzzles 3 people did save time which you would lose with 2.

Unexpected

The whole experience was awesome, the story, the puzzles, the details... everything was great with an awesome unexpected surprise. They really went out of their way to make this an awesome escape experience.

Awesom!!!

Very cool unique room for 2 people. This room was clearly created with attention to detail. All the puzzles were fun and original. Everything fitted and everything was in the style and story including the excellent hostess which made the whole experience even better. We definitely recommend this room to any team of two.

Nice room with original ending. Some of the puzzles were original. There is no clock in the room by design, so you don't know how long you have left, which can be positive or negative.

There is no clock in the room by design, so don't know how much time you have which can be positive or negative. The room was nicely decorated and designed. The puzzles had a good flow. The story was nicely incorporated in the room. With the two of us we escaped just in the nick oftime.

The room was great and well designed, hosts are really nice and helpful. The puzzles are diverse and challenging. Almost escaped with just the 2 of us. The room is for 3 but 2 experienced players can play.
