The Crimsons Recipe

Escape Schijndel
Posted on: 2026 june 24

Your simply the ebst

Dear fellow escape room enthusiasts,

On June 21, 2026, we finally managed to visit the location in Schijndel to play "The Crimson Recipe." As a group of enthusiasts, our expectations were very high, and I can say right away that I got to experience what is now my personal number one.

We visited the small village of Elderbroeck, where we were first welcomed at a bar. The moment we stepped into the establishment, it was clear that something "big" awaited us. After a brief chat with the bartender, we were able to stow our personal belongings. This is where "The Crimson Recipe" already sets itself apart from other providers and games: we deposited our items while being immediately immersed in the story, guided into the game by a sound and lighting design that remained flawless throughout the entire experience.
What greeted us at the start was an urban setting that couldn't have been portrayed more perfectly. The attention to detail was impeccable, and we immediately found our flow. The level of fun was incredibly high right from the start. What had happened here? Early clues pointed to the mysterious disappearance of a young girl. And what did the candy store have to do with it? These were the questions that drew us deeper and deeper into the story as we progressed. The puzzles were brilliantly chosen, demonstrating the love and technical perfection with which the game was conceived and built.
There was no shortage of technical intricacies, either; they consistently delivered delightful surprises.
As we solved puzzles, we ventured further into the story and the buildings of the small town. Puzzles and storytelling alternated perfectly, gradually revealing to us exactly what had taken place. A dark tale unfolded, perfectly underscored by lighting and sound effects.

The rooms were perfectly rendered and gave the game room to breathe.
And, of course, there was no shortage of curious neighbors and animal friends typical of a small town.
By the final, the true nature of events became clear, and we were able to play our small part in bringing the story to a heartwarming conclusion.
It is hard to describe without giving too much away. What Escaperoom Schijndel has created here is no ordinary escape room; it is art. Art set against a perfectly coordinated backdrop of lighting and sound, featuring a gripping, immersive story that touches the heart and unflinchingly portrays the challenges of truly connecting with others.

I could go on writing line after line, but everything has already been said.
I am happy to have been a guest in the little village of Elderbroeck and to have witnessed a young girl's story firsthand.

Dear Remco, dear Nathalie,

I would like to offer my sincere congratulations on this perfect escape room adventure. What you have built here surpasses anything I have experienced in my 382 previous rooms.

A huge thank you also goes to our game host, Marco, who mastered his role to perfection.
It was simply fantastic!

I wish you all the best for the future, and I hope all the players who have yet to experience this adventure have a fantastic trip to Elderbroeck.

P.S. I will be back in Elderbroeck.

Yours, Brian from Escape your mind (German Enthusiastic Escaperoom Team)

No Way Out

Escape Schijndel
Posted on: 2026 june 25

My name is Bond, James Bond

My dear escape room friends,

Last weekend, we chose the mission "No Way Out" at Escape Room Schijndel. "No Way Out" is a so-called first-generation escape room game. It's always interesting to play these kinds of games, as the escape room world boasts many new and technically sophisticated titles. However, as a group of enthusiasts, we are fully convinced that the older games are also great fun and absolutely form the foundation of escape rooms.

Upon arrival, there was no friendly greeting—why would there be? After all, we had a clear mission, which had been communicated to us beforehand.

Once we reached our safe house, the mission briefing began, which was presented very well and contributed to the fun. Clearly structured and focused, and above all, not too much equipment. You only needed the essentials, and then you were off. The target had to be somewhere in this building. From room to room, we progressed through the classic puzzles, constantly being drawn into the story of the room and our mission. The puzzles were always relevant to the mission's content, so this spy game had everything you could want. The technical support and contact with our mission manager also contributed to the overall positive experience. This game is especially recommended for younger agents who want to step into the shoes of a special operations team.

As a group of experienced gamers, we had a lot of fun and are already looking forward to our next adventure at Escaperoom Schijndel.

We wish you continued success!

Brian from Escape your mind

The Boss

MJ Escape Dordrecht
Posted on: 2026 july 5

Puzzle-Fun

My dear escape room friends,

Two weeks ago, we went on another escape room tour through the Netherlands (Room 279-282). We always try to visit the top rooms, but also mix in some of the smaller providers. And for good reason.

Over the past few years, we've noticed that escape rooms often transform into immersive theatrical performances and sometimes neglect the classic escape room experience. That's why we always enjoy visiting rooms with classic escape room puzzles.

On June 21, 2026, we started with just such a room.

This took us to Dordrecht, where we played "The Boss" at MJ-Escape.

As is typical in the Netherlands, we received a very warm welcome and were immediately able to discuss escape rooms and share our experiences. It was clear that our game master, "Vera," is passionate about the subject and that her heart beats for escape rooms.
... After a brief introduction, we were shown the story and taken to the starting room.

As we had imagined, the puzzles were designed in the style of classic escape room puzzles, and their themes were perfectly aligned with the room's storyline, which contributed significantly to the fun. A consistent feature throughout was that not every solution allowed you to progress immediately; you had to piece together the clues later to work out the solution within the overall context. This was brilliantly presented, ensuring that the entire group was constantly challenged, which we really appreciated.

The technology worked flawlessly and also contributed to the great enjoyment. Combined with traditional locks, MJ-Escaperoom's "The Boss" offers a classic and absolutely convincing escape room adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed.

It proves once again that you don't always need high-end, immersive theater productions to deliver a fantastic gaming and puzzle experience.

The stated difficulty level is absolutely spot on, and the price-performance ratio is more than fair.

We wish MJ-Escape continued success and would like to extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful game master, Vera.

We also wish MJ-Escape every success with their new escape room adventure.

Oh yes, we'll be back to enjoy their other adventures as well.

Best regards,

Brian from Escape your mind

Ordo Sanctus

Escaperoom Dordrecht
Posted on: 2026 july 7

Amen

Dear fellow escape room enthusiasts,

A little over two weeks ago, we visited our Dutch friends again during our escape room tour.
It is always a pleasure to visit our neighbors, as they radiate such genuine enthusiasm for this hobby.

That was certainly the case during our visit to "Escaperoom Dordrecht" in Dordrecht, where we finally got to play "Ordo Sanctus." We were warmly welcomed by our game master, Yoeri. We hit it off immediately and began sharing our passion for the hobby right away.

The venue is cozy and offers plenty of space to relax, though that wasn't why we were there.
After a brief briefing, we got started.

Right from the start, the game offered a classic atmosphere that fully immersed us in the story.
An order—the "Ordo Sanctus," an order of trust... or perhaps not?
We had been banished, and now we were back to uncover the secret.

Step by step, we made our way toward an abandoned house. What was hidden there? The opening phase relied on classic "search and find" mechanics. Before long, we succeeded and managed to gain access to the abandoned house.

The setting perfectly captured the atmosphere of an abandoned house. Nothing was missing; we could truly explore every corner of the building. This made the game incredibly fun and—most importantly—kept the entire group constantly engaged. The use of different vertical levels within the space also added significantly to the enjoyment.
The game also successfully recreated the realistic feel of a genuine house—something that is often merely hinted at by other providers, but fully realized here. We were drawn into the story bit by bit; the puzzles were closely tied to the narrative and the house's atmosphere, requiring us to keep the entire setting in view rather than focusing solely on the immediate area of play.

Classic puzzles, accompanied by an incredibly well-staged sound and lighting design, defined the entire experience. There were cryptic symbols, traditional decoding tasks, and texts holding the secrets to the puzzles—all in the style one would expect from "Ordo Sanctus."

As the game progressed, more doors opened, and the world of "Ordo Sanctus" revealed a dark secret in the finale: a power that was never meant to be found, yet was discovered nonetheless.

In the end, we succeeded; during the grand light-and-sound finale, we uncovered the Order's secret and destroyed its power.

All in all, "Ordo Sanctus" was a fantastic gaming experience, equally well-suited for both beginners and seasoned players. The Escapetalk ranking is spot-on, and it is well-deserved that "Ordo Sanctus" remains in the top 50 escape rooms in the Netherlands—ranking 30th—even after several years.

As escape room enthusiasts (with 382 rooms under our belts), we had a blast, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank our game master, Yoeri, once again.

We wish Escape Room Dordrecht continued success and will definitely be back—after all, another adventure is waiting there for "Escape your mind" to discover.

All the best and may your rooms always be fully booked,
Brian from "Escape your mind" / "Enthusiastic Escaperoomteam Germany"

Heroes

My dear escape room friends,

last weekend, as an Escaperoomenthusiast (378 games under my belt), I was finally able to make the long-awaited journey to Bamberg to visit "Cineroom Bamberg."
In my luggage, I carried a feeling, an idea, a dose of adrenaline—or well, at the very least, a clear mission. Deep within the Kramer Institute in Bamberg, a glimmer of hope against a looming epidemic seems to lie hidden. Will we succeed in finding Revoxin, enabling the mass production of the serum, and—in the process—investigating and uncovering a dark secret? Upon arrival, we hit the ground running; the on-site research director quickly briefed us on our assignment. In an atmosphere that was dark, emotionally charged, and focused squarely on the group, we received our instructions. Any questions? None. To begin with, we encountered an absolutely perfectly staged setting that contributed to a flawless and immersive experience. Gathering details, searching for clues—it was an introduction optimally tailored for players of all levels, from beginners to veterans. There wasn't an overload of information, but rather a clearly structured task management system that constantly challenged the players and pushed them out of their comfort zones. One by one, we tackled the tasks required to reach the Revoxin, diving ever deeper into the storyline and the events of 1977. As the experience unfolded, the perfect and utterly realistic ambiance continued to weigh heavily on the group. A sense of unease began to set in. Who would go first? Who would step up and take charge?
The group must come together to achieve its goal. Alone? No—and who is Toni? At "Cineroom Bamberg," the entire experience is constructed within a cinematically perfect setting, consistently enhanced by optimal lighting and sound effects. The focus here is squarely on the story. The tasks and puzzle structure take center stage, aligning in close harmony with the narrative's progression. The storyline is seamless and flawless. The actor is a true professional, fully focused on the group. Time and again, we are compelled to confront the "unknown"; yet, through tasks that unfold in tandem with the plot, the group gradually learns how to interact with their "counterpart" as the game progresses—anticipating his reactions and determining how best to respond. Cineroom Bamberg demands all this of its players, while simultaneously demonstrating the ability to constantly adapt to the group's progress throughout the game—without ever leaving players with the feeling that they have failed to solve a particular task along the way. Furthermore, the game incorporates individual sequences for specific players—moments that occasionally call for a little extra courage. Each individual task and puzzle consistently challenges the entire group, ensuring that no single player ever experiences a moment of boredom. Striking the perfect balance between tasks, puzzle design (integrated seamlessly with the plot), and the overall immersive player experience is, indeed, a true art form within the realm of immersive escape room theater.

The control of the special effects is also adaptable to the specific situation, allowing it to be fine-tuned for each group to ensure the challenge level remains appropriate. Also worthy of special mention is the elaborate game design—crafted and brought to life by its creator. Yes, I did click the 5-star rating—but now I’m starting to wonder: where are the 6th and 7th stars? With "Kramer," Cineroom Bamberg offers one of the finest escape room adventures I have ever encountered—one I simply must classify as a "MUST PLAY." There are top-tier games... and then there is "Kramer." I would love to see the German escape room scene place greater trust in the expertise of our local game designers and produce more original experiences of its own. "Kramer" proves that we have what it takes!

I wish Cineroom continued success and full rooms!
Marco, thank you for this absolutely fantastic experience.
A huge thank you also goes to Jana Erbes—the german game designer who has once again demonstrated that horror is about far more than just a "jumpscare."

Sincerely, Brian from Escape Your Mind

Expedition Bermuda

One Hour Lockup
Posted on: 2025 october 17

Schiff ahoi

My dear escape room friends,

to conclude our escape room tour on September 27th - 28th, 2025, we played "Expedition Bermuda" at the One Hour Lockup location.

The location itself is very cozy and decorated with many memories from past escape room adventures.

You can also sit down here for a drink or a small snack before, during, and after the games.

But for us, of course, the second escape room adventure was on the agenda: the Expedition.

Our task was to reach a lost ship and bring it back from the mysterious Bermuda Triangle.

After a brief introduction to the game, we were off.

And as expected, you were immediately drawn into the game's story. The flight to the ship was simulated almost perfectly, and the landing and boarding also featured some very realistic effects.

Where was the umbrella?

After gaining access to the ship, we landed directly in the engine room via a small anteroom.

I've played a few technical games, including ship games, but what we were offered here surpassed everything I've seen and experienced before.

With a few logic puzzles and a search-and-find element, we got the engine room running again and
gained access to the ship's galley.

This, too, was fantastically presented and furnished with great attention to detail. The puzzles to be solved here were also consistently themed around the galley. After we'd dealt with the knife, fork, lobster, and bread, our path led us to the captain's cabin. This, too, was presented almost perfectly.

Here we met Columbus, a friendly companion who had a few tips for us.

With some information, we were then able to gain access to the ship's bridge, from where we had to perform a few ship repairs. All I can say is: water on.

Here, too, the puzzles were completely chosen around the theme of a ship's bridge.

After taking a few twists and turns in the story, we arrived safely in the harbor, which won't be revealed here.

Conclusion:
The game Expedition Bermuda is an absolutely fantastic and perfectly staged escape room adventure.

Compared to other escape rooms, a perfect atmosphere has been created here, allowing players to completely immerse themselves in another world.

The puzzles are exciting and very varied and also follow the explored room on the ship.

The actual final task is always connected to all the puzzles on this voyage.

The sound effects were also perfectly staged and contributed to a perfect gaming experience.

What "One Hour Lock Up" has created here is simply fantastic.

We talked about the game long afterward.

I've come to the conclusion that "Expedition Bermuda" is one of the best games I've ever played. And that's 360 now.
For me, this game is also a clear favorite for the Terpeca final.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire "One Hour Lock Up" team for this gaming experience and hope that more games will follow.

Escape Your Mind isn't offering a game recommendation here, but rather a MUST-play.

I wish the team all the best and continued success.

Yours, Brian from Escape Your Mind.

Midnite

OuterGround
Posted on: 2025 september 29

High Explosion

My dear escape room friends,

This weekend, our escape room tour to Holland was on the agenda.
Of course, we were very excited to go, as we've already played so many great escape rooms in Holland.
Today, we decided to go to the cinema at the Mirage with Outerground.

Before I get to the game, however, I would like to emphasize that we received a more than friendly welcome. You can feel that the entire team fully identifies with the escape rooms, which is immediately noticeable to every visitor.

It really felt like family. Thanks in advance to the entire team for that.

After receiving our personal tickets, we went to the box office, where we had to show our tickets. So far, so good. But somehow the ticket clerk seemed a little apprehensive. What was he afraid of?

Well, we soon found out. After the clerk disappeared, we were able to explore the lobby of the cinema together.

The ambiance was authentic and immersed us in an immersive gaming experience from the very beginning. From then on, the tension grew ever greater, and puzzle after puzzle, we were immersed in the story of a deceased girl. It must be said at this point that it's not easy to create a horror escape room that also incorporates the elements of an escape room. Some providers have already fallen at this hurdle. But not Outerground. The elements of horror and the puzzle experience were perfectly selected so that players could grasp and solve the puzzles. The lighting and sound effects were optimally coordinated with the gaming experience and contributed to a completely immersive gaming experience.

The story is absolutely coherent, and you learn more and more about the events that happened some time ago in the Mirage.
The perfectly designed backdrop contributes to the feeling of being in a real cinema.
The props used and constructed are also almost perfectly designed.

Technical, manual, and visual puzzles alternate perfectly.

The horror moments, perfectly coordinated with light and sound, round out the fantastic gaming experience.
The game also offers some surprising features that I don't want to reveal here.

In the end, we managed to understand the story of the deceased girl and bring the truth to light.
With great sensitivity from the actors, we were guided through the game, which we were then able to successfully complete.

Of course, we more than deserved the portion of popcorn and a drink.

Conclusion:
With Midnite, Outerground has created a fantastic and immersive horror experience unlike anything we've ever seen. The acting was perfectly staged.

For us, the experience was one of the best escape room adventures we've had so far (360 escape rooms).

I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my sincere gratitude to the entire Outerground team for this unforgettable day in Rijswijk.

We wish the Outerground team continued success.

Best regards,

Yours, Brian from Escape Your Mind

The Mystery of Whitechapel

OuterGround
Posted on: 2025 october 3

Elementary

My dear escape room friends,

last weekend we played a total of 4 games at Outerground. First, I would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful stay. We felt very welcomed and at home. Now to the game: The Secret of Whitechapel is a first-generation escape room. These are games that are still largely equipped with classic combination locks. In our opinion, the game is perfect for a group of 3-4 players. With its selection of games, Outerground covers all genres, offering beginners as well as experienced players an optimal range of escape rooms. The puzzles lead the players step by step toward solving the mystery of the unknown figure causing chaos in London. The puzzles are thematically embedded in Victorian London as well as the story of the missing persons. The game masters were also excellent and always ready to assist if needed.

This also shows how committed the staff are in fulfilling their role as game master. I can recommend this game, even though it is an older game, to experienced groups as well. However, beginner groups should definitely play this game, as it clearly highlights the basic principles of an escape room. Understanding these games and gaining experience in the approach of an escape room, in my opinion, forms the basis for successfully tackling more complex games later on. I hope that this room will continue to exist, and I would like to thank the entire team, especially our game master for the successful adventure.

Best regards,
yours Brian from Escape your Mind.

Jason's Legacy

OuterGround
Posted on: 2025 october 6

This Game is on Fire

Hello dear escape room friends,

On September 27, 2025, the three of us played Jason's Legacy at Outerground. I can already reveal that this game is one of the best I've ever played (360 rooms).
From the very beginning, you're immersed in the game setting, which maintains a very high and detailed level throughout the entire game.

It's impressive how quickly a large, open playing area presents itself to the player, with plenty to explore.
We are gradually guided through the story and are able to solve many varied puzzles, which always involve the various senses, even reaching for abstract observation, without losing the overall context of the lovely town of Greenfield.

This is what particularly impressed us about this game.

The game also captivates with its mysterious twists and turns, which gradually reveal the magnitude of the entire game.

This room is not only suitable for beginner groups; advanced groups are also well-suited here.

A larger group can also play here without any problems and without getting in each other's way. Quite the opposite. Especially for beginner groups, choosing a slightly larger group seems sensible to explore all the information and objects.

The playing time of 75 minutes is ideal, so all groups will have fun.
It's also worth mentioning that the game offers great value for money.

Conclusion:
With Jason's Legacy, Outerground has another top game that absolutely captivated us.

Escapeyourmind doesn't recommend this game, but rather calls it a MUST-PLAY.

We would like to thank the entire Outerground team for this fantastic gaming experience and the absolutely friendly and professional atmosphere in the location.

We'd love to come back for a coffee, even though we've already played everything, because the exchange with the game masters and location managers is simply invaluable.

Dear Marc,
Dear Bart,
Dear Team,

Escapeyourmind wishes Outerground continued success and full rooms.

Stay healthy.

Yours, Brian from Escape your mind

Illuminati Headquarters

One Hour Lockup
Posted on: 2025 october 16

High Explosion

My dear escape room friends,

At the end of our escape room tour on September 27th and 28th, 2025, we stopped by Onehourlockup.
We started by playing the game "Illuminati Headquarters."

We arrived shortly before the game started and were warmly welcomed into the very cozy atmosphere of the location.

After a brief introduction to the game, we got started.
First of all, it must be said that this is a first-generation game, which has already been around for a few years.
But you couldn't tell by looking at the game.

The ambience was stylishly decorated according to the theme, and nothing was broken or worn. Simply fantastic.

From the very beginning, the basics of the escape room game were explained and rounded off with a search-and-find element.
The puzzles always followed the theme of the room and alternated between logical thinking, search-and-find, and the power of deduction.

The game is suitable for beginners and advanced players. In addition, large groups will also get their money's worth, as some of the puzzles can be solved in parallel and the room also has enough space.

Time and again, we are surprised by hidden secret compartments.
Paired with classic locks and an interestingly designed electronic puzzle section, we gradually got closer to the secret of the Illuminati.

We completed the adventure almost exactly and had a lot of fun solving the puzzles.

With "Illuminati Headquarters," the location has an escape room game that absolutely belongs in the classic category
and offers enormous puzzle and gaming fun.

Escape your mind definitely recommends this game.

We would like to thank the entire team for this great puzzle adventure.

Yours, Brian from Escape your mind

Illusion

Epic Escape Waalwijk
Posted on: 2025 august 19

More than an Illusion

Dear escape room friends,

After 353 escape rooms, I finally managed to stop by Epic Escape in Waalwijk. I also had a little surprise for a friend, which I was able to place in the game thanks to the support of the owners and our game master "Noah," so we were able to pull something amazing out of the hat. Thank you so much again for that.

But now to the game. We received a very warm welcome, as is typical in the Netherlands.
It was clear right from the start that the game master also fully identifies with the topic of "escape rooms." This allowed us to discuss a few games beforehand and exchange experiences.

After a short but already story-relevant intro, we got started. Completely themed around a magician, we encountered a variety of puzzles that fit into the theme. We had a great deal of fun playing the game right from the start.

The rooms were also spacious, so that even large groups could play without any problems.

The ambiance was chosen with great attention to detail and contributed greatly to the gameplay.

The underlying story also fit perfectly with the design and puzzles of the room.

The puzzles themselves are well-chosen, and for larger groups, some can be solved in parallel, so that every player gets their money's worth and always discovers something new. We spent a little longer on one puzzle, but this wasn't due to the puzzle itself; it was simply because we were thinking a bit too long.

At the end, we still had a few seconds left and were able to fully enjoy our gaming experience.

Our conclusion:
Illusion is one of the top escape room games we've ever played.
Escapeyourmind definitely recommends it.

Thanks again to the entire team, you did a great job!

We wish Epicescape all the best for the new room, and we'll be back.

Best regards,
Your Brian from Escapeyourmind

Escape Rush

This review is more than 1 years old. The situation may have changed.

Simply the best

My dear Escaproom friends,

We've been trying for a long time to book all four games in a row with Escaprush in Belgium. On July 13, 2025, the time finally came.

We were really excited, as we'd already heard nothing but "good" things from other groups. So we finally had to see for ourselves what the provider had to offer.

I can already say that it was an absolutely fantastic day for our group right from the start.

Everything is simply different here. The location is located in a courtyard entrance that had already been converted for the setting. A street scene with a store, a pharmacy, and a residential building was lovingly constructed here.
So, from the moment we arrived, we were already part of the game.
We were immediately greeted very warmly by the staff and escorted to the store. This store serves as a waiting room.
If you're familiar with the Kingsman films, you'll find the story reflected here. The waiting area is also fantastic and lovingly designed in an English baroque setting. At this point, I'd like to highlight the dedication and service of the staff. It was simply brilliant. Many thanks to everyone who looked after us throughout the day. I've never experienced such perfect service before.

You could always feel that the staff completely identified with the idea of Lord Ravenwood's time travel, and this feeling was also passed on to the players. In other words, perfect service.

But now to the game:
The red light was about to go on for the last time that day, and we were led to the instruction room.
We were already familiar with this from the other three games.
The time travel and the feeling of being part of this spy story were reinforced again and again as we walked through the time tunnel.
The intro was also perfectly tailored to the story. Not too short, not too long.

And then we were standing in the front yard of Botanist Manor.
We were immediately gripped by the scenario about Sarah Fischer's disappearance. What we were shown in the first setting, however, was beyond our imagination.
A fantastic and almost perfectly designed scenario of an old mansion with a front yard.
The puzzles to be solved in this part were fantastically presented and included many technical ideas that I hadn't seen before. It must be said that the puzzles leave no room for interpretation. The work was very precise, and even long puzzles could be solved and followed perfectly.

After gaining access to the men's room, we were confronted with the story of being part of an escape room ourselves.

Yes, you heard right, we visited an escape room and became part of the room's story.
A fantastic idea that continues to improve as the story progresses. The puzzles were also beautifully designed, and I can already say that the whole game is also perfect for larger groups, as everyone can either participate in one puzzle or discover a different puzzle to work on.

After we gained access to an abandoned office, it became clear that we weren't just guests, but part of the experiment. I don't want to spoil too much here, but even classic elements from action movies were recreated and contributed to an absolutely realistic gaming experience. The technical support was also presented in a perfect scenario. Little by little, the story of Sarah Fischer's disappearance became clear, and our goal was now to shatter the illusion of the insane homeowner, which we ultimately succeeded in doing. Throughout the game, we were guided through elaborately prepared scenarios that promoted a completely immersive gaming experience.

For us, this was the perfect end to a perfect day.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire staff for this impressive and perfect experience.
In our opinion, and after consulting with other enthusiasts from Germany, the provider is the best provider I've experienced in my 349 escape rooms to date. The game Botanist Manor is, in my opinion, the best game I've ever played (relative to classic escape room games, of course).

For us, Botanist Manor is at the top of the Escapetalk list.
@escapeyourmind doesn't recommend it; we say it's a "MUST."

Thanks again, many, many thanks to Escaperush.

P.S. I'd like to say something about the pricing. It might seem a bit daunting at first.
The games aren't cheap, but that's absolutely fine, and the price is more than justified.

Best regards,
Brian from Escape your mind

Escape your Brain

My dear escape room friends,

On July 13, 2025, we finally had the chance to play all four games at Escaperush. For more information, please see my other three reviews. At the beginning of our adventure, we were led to the reception area. This was the Ravenwood Tailor Store and was decorated in a fantastic ambiance. It's also worth mentioning that this area offers enough space for up to four groups without getting in each other's way. This room was accompanied by classical piano music. The entire area from the entrance is already embedded in the story, and fans of the "Kingsman" film series might recognize a few parallels here. The tailor shop is surrounded by a pharmacy and a front door, so that players are immersed in a completely new world upon leaving the street. I would also like to first highlight the extremely professional and friendly staff. The service here is unique and second to none. Many thanks to the entire team.

After the tailor shop was bathed in red light, our time had come. We were greeted by our game master and taken to the anteroom, which we already knew from the first two games. After locking up our personal belongings, we went through the time travel tunnel again where we received our mission briefing. As always, it was short, concise, and fantastically presented.

The location was Shibuya, Japan. The setting was certainly a challenge.
And indeed, a few steps and we found ourselves in the perfect setting of a side street in Shibuya.

It depicted all sorts of small shops. The street had been built with great attention to detail. The game was very fun from the start, and we played our way through the search and find factor and solved the first puzzles.
The puzzles were fantastically presented and very varied. This game is also ideal for large groups, as there is plenty of space and something for every player to discover.

After we were able to leave the street, we played our way into a laboratory. The story unfolded, and we had to deal with various cell inmates and satisfy their needs. Here, too, the entire team was challenged. The puzzles were optimally tailored to the story, and you had to understand the story in order to solve the puzzles well. This contributed to an immersive gaming experience. The laboratory area was also fantastic and designed with great attention to detail. The materials used were also consistently high-quality. We were then faced with some more logic puzzles, which we mastered with a lot of teamwork.

In the end, we managed to neutralize the deadly virus and return to our world.

Once again, the agents of Ravenwood have done it.

In summary, Tokyo-Lab is another fantastic game from Escaperush, one of the best I've played in my 349 rooms.

Escapeyourmind doesn't offer a game recommendation here, but rather a "must-play."

Thanks again to the entire Escaperush team for this perfect escape room day.

Best regards

Brian from Escapeyourmind

Demise of the Gricers - Normal

Entered
Posted on: 2025 may 19
This review is more than 1 years old. The situation may have changed.

Adrenalin pur

Hello dear escape room friends,

On May 18, 2025, we took on the task of infiltrating the Gricers. First of all, we played the regular version. Our team had been briefed about the mission via email a few days in advance, which greatly contributed to the anticipation of the game day. The documents were easy to read, and the task was clear and straightforward, so even less experienced players could tackle the mission without any problems.

It's also worth mentioning that "Demise of the Gricers" is not a traditional escape room, but rather an "experience." The provider communicated this in advance.

But now to our experience.

The game starts when you leave the cars, and right from the start, you have to put yourself in the role of the agents in order to get rid of one or two annoying companions. This is where creativity and ingenuity are called for.

After being briefed on the rules of this experience, you'll now receive the equipment you need to successfully complete the mission.
I don't want to give away any spoilers here, but the technical gimmicks are fantastically designed and work flawlessly even under enormous stress.

After putting on our equipment and protective clothing, we got started. At the beginning, you have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the basic mission again and gradually get to know the game's characters.

The basic gameplay for navigating the world of the Gricers is quickly learned and is one of the highlights of this game.

Anyone who gets a little hectic or loses track :-) will probably make some acquaintances with the Gricers and have to get moving :-).

From then on, the focus was solely on the mission. Infiltration was the order of the day, and not just by entering a gate, but by scouting the train hall, which incidentally only allows for a little light, which contributed to an enormous thrill and fun. Everything was professionally staged.

The lighting and sound concept is optimally and professionally tailored to the mission and will give players the occasional shiver.

As we became more and more familiar with the mode of movement, we were able to explore the world of the Gricers more and more deeply. We were always on guard to avoid detection, which is one of the basic requirements for the success of the mission(s).

The mission was always in harmony with the items to be used and immersed the players in another world.
Only once in my now 345 rooms have I been as deeply involved in a game as I was with the Gricers.
Even inexperienced players will find success here, as the assistance is optimally integrated into the game, thus avoiding frustration.
The assistance can be individually adapted to the progress of the mission and the group's ability.

The first part of the mission already demanded a lot from us, and well, you're not always in a team, or you don't always meet only your teammates. But everyone is responsible for that.

Throughout the game, the impressions of the Gricers' world grew ever deeper thanks to the breathtaking and highly professionally designed scenery (if you can even call it that here), and you become more and more lost in this world. After successfully completing the first part of the mission, we now had to find a strange package. You can imagine that the missions don't get any easier. But you had already become somewhat familiar with the environment, and the information gained during the first part was enough to get a starting point for the second part. The light and sound effects, as well as the newly explored locations, will continually draw you into the game's spell.
You may notice that it's not that easy to describe the game world.
But it's epic and perfectly realized in every way.

As mentioned above, we played the regular version, which also has a corresponding "finale" that packs a punch. This, too, was optimally implemented by the team to avoid giving the impression that they hadn't achieved success. It's no surprise that "The Demise of the Gricers" won the "Golden Lock Award" from Escape Room Artists in 2024.

What we found here will take any player's breath away. A perfect staging of an agent mission from start to finish, set in a perfectly epic setting.

One thing to note, however, is that you should be at least somewhat fit, otherwise, it might be a bit time-critical at one point or another :-).

After the game, we also reviewed the game together with the actors, and we were able to discuss one or two scenes/chase scenes.

The actors did a professional job and contributed enormously to making the experience an absolute highlight in the world of gaming. For me, "The Demise of the Gricers" holds a special place and must be classified as such, since, as mentioned above, it is not a classic escape room game.

The Demise of the Gricers is an absolute "MUST" for anyone who wants to escape everyday life and find themselves in a completely new world.

Escapeyourmind doesn't just recommend it, it's a must-play. :-)

I would like to thank the entire team, both in front of and behind the scenes. What was created here is unique and deserves my utmost respect.

Finally, I would like to say something about the value for money.
Considering the running time and the actors' commitment, the price is absolutely top-notch.

Oh yes, I promise one more thing: we'll be back and then we'll give the rest of the Gricers a good kick in the ass...

See you then

Yours, Brian from Escapeyourmind

The End

DarkPark Zoetermeer

This review is more than 1 years old. The situation may have changed.

High explosion

Meine lieben Escaperoomfreunde,

Also keine Angst, Ihr seid nicht allein.

Euer Brian von Escape your mind

High explosion

Was soll ich sagen.

Like a movie

Meine lieben Escaperoomfreunde,

Amsterdam Catacombs

This review is more than 1 years old. The situation may have changed.

My soul is sacred

Hallo liebe Escaperoomfreunde,

Hier stimmt einfach alles.

LIVE Undercover Skill Facility

TheStart EscapeRooms
Posted on: 2024 april 23
This review is more than 2 years old. The situation may have changed.

Your test starts now!

Meine lieben Escaperoomfreunde,

Man

Hunting time

Hallo liebe Escaperoomfreunde,

Euer Brian (@brian.sohni)
