WOW - spectacular!

Holy sh*t, what a SET!! And such richness!

? In terms of set: Diagon Alley meets Jules Verne, meets Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in a spectacular way. I’m still baffled by it. There’s some serious talent behind this production.

? The story is fun, larger than life, intense, and some details definitely escaped us.

?️ The gameplay is a delight. It’s all classic escape room gameplay but hugely varied, and often the interactions align well with the story, which is one of the hardest things in escape game design.

? For scaredy cats like us: this experience has about 6 moments of jump scares. The mad scientist in the story really is quite frightening. My partner, with no experience in scary escape rooms, took a while for her heart rate and adrenaline to recover.

??‍? Alex was a fantastic host: talented and attentive. Seeing him after the game added a nice extra dimension to already fantastic experience. It also calmed my partner to see such a sweet person after the adrenaline fueled game.

?? The game is fully translated into English, which we appreciated a lot. Note: the hints are given through a voice modulater, which we found very hard to understand much of the time. We would simply ask to repeat the hint until we understood it.

? I think the ideal team size for this game would be 3 or 4. We found it’s a very good experience for 2 players, but naturally you’ll feel a bit overwhelmed from time to time, as this is a VERY rich game.

? Special note to escape room fans from San Francisco: I would say this is the modern successor to The Edison Room, in terms of muchness and variety of gameplay. If you liked that, you’ll love this.

? We took a €25 Uber there from central BCN, but traffic had us delayed by 15 mins, which added some stress because it was just the 2 of us and like I keep saying, this game is RICH. We took the train back from the nearest station, which was a 23 minute walk away. Next time, we’ll take the train both ways ;)

? An extra note of apprecation to the maker: I noticed and LOVED that you had decorated the camera’s in style with the rest of the room. It’s a touch almost no other escape rooms do, and I really appreciated it!

This game will absolutely go on my must-play recommendation list for Barcelona.

? The Brewery is a wonderful, joyful game with many twists and turns!

It’s creatively designed, full of fun and surprising moments.

Manuela was a fantastic host and we felt lucky to have her as our guide, as her enthusiasm and sweet, happy energy added some lovely bubbles to the secret recipe.

Bombastisch fantastisch 💥

The Dome wordt met recht internationaal gezien als de meest spectaculaire escape room ter wereld. De makers zijn all-in gegaan en hebben een absurd epische ervaring neergezet die barst van de wow momenten en bovenal vooral heel erg FUN is.

Qua challenges zit er ontzettend veel creativiteit in. Sommige zijn leuke fysieke taken, sommige zijn meer puzzels (ik tel zeker 5 puzzelpuzzels waarvan er één misschien wel mijn favoriete puzzel ooit is)

Potentieel zwaktepunt is dat het verhaal een beetje dun voelt, maar dat drukt de pret totaal niet. Beschouw hey verhaal gewoon als een premisse en maak je er verder niet teveel zorgen over.

Absolute must-play, ik heb ‘m al twee keer gedaan en verheug me op het moment dat het weer tijd is voor een derde bezoek (over een paar jaar; op dit moment herinner ik me alles nog te goed).

Droomachtig prachtig!

Wat een kunstwerk! De flow van deze ervaring gaat als een mes door boter en de creativiteit van de maker is te proeven in elk onderdeel. Deze game is een cadeau aan de escape room scene en zal te boek gaan als één van de beste ter wereld. Mega petje af aan de maker!

IJZERSTERK AVONTUUR

Wow! Naast alle gave interacties, is hetgeen dat ik zo enorm waardeer aan The End dat je echt in een verhaal zit. Dat betekent voor mij dat alle interacties een reden hebben om er te zijn, dat er voortgang geboekt wordt in elk hoofdstuk en dat het als een samenhangend geheel voelt. Dat doet het allemaal als de beste.

Mega must-play.

IJzersterk en meeslepend

Deze ervaring was mijn eerste echt enge escape room en DAMN, wat heb ik ervan genoten! Horror is nog steeds niet mijn ding, maar deze ervaring heeft zó’n sterk verhaal en zó’n goede balans tussen spannend en eng, dat ik heel blij ben te zijn gegaan, en dat ik ‘m ook zelfs aan mede niet-horror-fans durf aan te bevelen. Het is al jaren geleden, maar ik kan me elke ruimte nog herinneren, en elke highlight, zo sterk was ‘ie. Jammer ergens, want ik zou ‘m best graag nog een keer doen ;)

Verrukkelijk avontuur!

Wat een avontuur! Ik heb zo'n 50 escape rooms gespeeld en er zijn weinig anderen waarbij ik zó'n kinderlijke excitement ervoer als in Kamer 237. Absoluut in de top 10 van Nederland en zelfs de rit waard als je uit Groningen komt. Ook goed om te noemen: de ervaring is spannend, zeker maar niet echt eng. Just the way I love it :)

Verrukkelijke game!

Dit is een heerlijke ervaring; qua puzzels één van de leukste die ik ken. Ook erg lekkere flow, en meer dan genoeg te doen voor een vol team!

Prachtige kamer & leuk verhaal!

Dit is één van de betere escape rooms: het avontuur begint mooi in-story en mondt uit in een flinke rush van parallelpuzzels. Aanrader voor een groter team; wij waren met z'n 4'en en kwamen er niet op tijd doorheen. Ik zou 5 á 6 spelers aanraden (meer zou ook goed kunnen, maar dan heb je per persoon minder te doen)
