Baron Beeckman heeft een bittere pil te slikken … De ooit zo florissante apotheek van zijn overgrootvader Cornelis trok mensen van heinde en verre naar het pittoreske Diest. Zijn legendarische remedies genoten een uitstekende reputatie en de beroemde Panacee-pil was het kroonjuweel van de apotheek. Maar sinds zijn plotse dood is de voorraad van deze mythische wonderpil volledig uitgeput … en trekt de apotheek nog nauwelijks klanten.

Panacee, de wonderpil die echt elk kwaaltje geneest!

Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn om het recept van een ogenschijnlijk simpele pil te ontrafelen? Toch is het niemand gelukt om het geheim van Cornelis te achterhalen.
