Wat een ONGEKENDE experience. Ongeëvenaarde acteurs, met uiteraard alle respect naar de toppers in de BeNeLux. Wat een perfectie in timing, geluid, licht, snelheid en anticipatie. Ook de techniek, de welbekende flow en de puzzels passen perfect.
Ze gaan op die locatie nog drie experiences bouwen. Alleen dat al zal reden voor ons zijn om het vliegtuig in te stappen.

Perfect verhaal gebaseerd op de welbekende film “The Exorcist” waarbij de spanning elk moment voelbaar is. Acteerkunsten helemaal on point en timing was fabuleus. Deze moet je een keer gespeeld hebben.

Holy Exorcista
My. God. Ik weet oprecht niet waar ik moet beginnen. Dit is van A tot Z, en weer terug, een compleet epische ervaring. Alles aan deze kamer klopt: de sfeer, spanning, opbouw en intensiteit. Je wordt volledig meegenomen in wat er gebeurt en vanaf het eerste moment laat de ervaring je eigenlijk niet meer los.
Het acteerwerk was echt van exceptioneel niveau, met een timing waar je alleen maar bewondering voor kunt hebben. Elke entree, interactie en scare voelde perfect getimed en ongelooflijk sterk uitgevoerd. Ik ben normaal gesproken niet snel echt bang in een escape room of horror experience, maar hier heb ik meerdere keren als een klein kind staan schreeuwen, en eerlijk? Ik heb van iedere seconde genoten. ?
De spanning wordt constant goed opgebouwd zonder ooit overdreven aan te voelen, waardoor je continu op scherp staat. Dit is niet zomaar een escape room, maar echt een totaalbeleving die nog lang in je hoofd blijft hangen. Wat een bizarre en ontzettend toffe ervaring. Absoluut een must-play voor liefhebbers van spanning en immersive experiences

Ontvangst:
De kamer bevind zich recht tegenover een metro station, dus met het OV goed bereikbaar. Er zijn restaurants etc in de buurt aanwezig. Vooraf kan je niet naar de wc, dus doe dit ergens anders! De ontvangst zelf was wat minimalistisch. Er werd zachtjes gepraat en zonder veel info of iets van regels beginnen we ons avontuur.
Kamer:
Eenmaal binnen zag ik wel dat het decor heel mooi was. Alles was netjes afgewerkt en de volledige kamer staat er zeer netjes bij. Nauwelijks slijtage of gebruikssporen! De puzzels in deze kamer zijn niet moeilijk, maar dit is vaker in horror kamers. De spanning zorgt er ook voor dat je geen moeilijke puzzels kan doen.
De show momenten van deze kamer zijn zeer sterk. Echt hele toffe dingen worden er gedaan en het verhaal blijft bouwen qua intensiteit en spanning. Soms was de timing van onze acteur niet mega sterk, we hebben haar een paar keer nog net door een luikje of deur zien gaan. Ook het einde van de kamer kan in mijn ogen beter. Dit voelde een tikje anti-climax. Maar deze 2 puntjes zijn ook écht de enige rede dat de kamer geen 10 krijgt maar ''slechts'' een 9,5.
Conclusie:
Hele mooie horror kamer met vette visuals. Voor de angsthaas wellicht intens, maar zeker te doen! Leuke puzzels met tof decor en mooie verassingen. Speel het beste met 2-4 spelers. Meer dan 4 zou ik écht niet doen, dan gaan mensen dingen missen en/of niet kunnen zien. Echt een must-play als je in Barcelona bent!

Toffe ervaring
Dit was een van de belevingen waar ik erg veel zin in had!
Het onthaal is super in thema en het decor is wederom geweldig. De acteurs konden wat beter hun werk doen, maar over het algemeen was het leuk gedaan, en was de spanning om te snijden.
Er zitten leuke elementen in en wat ik al zij het decor is geweldig en ontzettend groot.
Dit is echt een must-play!
Ben je in Barcalona en hou je van spanning, pak deze dan zeker mee.

Exorcista: A Shockingly Brilliant Adventure
The final room of our Barcelona trip takes us to the horror experience *Exorcista*. Terror Stories is said to have created a true masterpiece with this one - we’re very curious to see what awaits us.
We drive there, find a parking garage nearby — everything easy — and soon we’re standing in front of the location. And as is often the case in Barcelona, things get started right away and we begin the game.
Out of the two available game intensity levels, we chose the Terror Mode (knowing that there would be no physical contact and that we would “only” be facing 'psychological terror').
And yes - what everyone says is true: The room is extremely intense, immersive, and truly gets under your skin. During the first 10 minutes we were still thinking, “Hey — is that all?” But then our hosts step in and the show begins.
And it REALLY begins.
The best part is that, instead of relying on cheap jump scares in the dark, a story unfolds in front of us that completely captivates us. And this is mainly due to the spectacular performance of the actors. They managed to make us feel utterly fascinated and full of adrenaline all at the same time — feeling like we wanted to hide, while at the same time not wanting to miss a single second.
It was simply incredible.
The actors are perfectly in sync with each other, the room, the lighting, the music, and the story that everything flows seamlessly. The puzzles fit the theme, the decor is nice, the guidance is always attentive, and the entire experience is at a level that is simply W-O-W.
Being totally honest: at the beginning we weren’t sure whether we would enjoy the room or if it might be too intense. And yes — it *is* intense, really intense. BUT it’s totally worth it, and we’re so glad that we dared to do it.
This room will stay in my Top 10 for quite a while I guess. :)
To finish things off: 90 minutes flew by way too quickly. Afterwards we had a really lovely chat with the GMs. We felt comfortable and well taken care of from the very beginning till the end. Mija and Itzel — you’re AMAZING!!
Thank you for this unique, adrenaline-filled, exciting, shocking, touching, and at the same time amazing and brilliant experience.
