Write a reviewLeuke escape room, maar exclusief in het Frans
Wij hebben deze escape room met z'n tweeën gedaan in de veronderstelling dat er een Engelse variant van bestaat. Nadat wij de eigenaar hebben gecontacteerd had hij aangegeven dat het prima is om de escape room in het Engels te doen, als je dit maar van tevoren laat weten. Zo gezegd zo gedaan, maar dit bleek achteraf toch niet echt een optie te zijn toen wij ontvangen werden in het pand. Uiteindelijk wist de gamemaster zichzelf en ons te overtuigen dat hij er wel voor kon zorgen dat het toch wel te spelen was in het Engels, ook al was dit de eerste keer ooit.
Met wat hulpmiddelen was het prima te doen om alles wat Frans was in het Engels te vertalen, en waar nodig kon de gamemaster op een grappige en inventieve manier bijspringen. De escape room zelf was prima aangekleed en had een leuk thema! Ik zou alleen niet aanraden om de escape room met te veel mensen te spelen. twee is prima, ook als je niet heel ervaren bent. Ik zou het er alleen niet op wagen als je geen Frans spreekt, want onze gamemaster was geweldig maar die garantie heb je niet altijd.
Kortom: een leuke escape room voor als je Frans spreekt, goede service van de gamemaster alleen misleidt door de eigenaar die garandeerde dat het in het Engels kon.

Enchanting Escape: Uncovering Professor Dragono’s Secrets at Escape Hostel
The Escape Hostel rooms are located in a beautiful standalone villa in a small village, right next to a café. As we step inside, we are immediately captivated by the atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for our adventure. After a fantastic introduction by our incredibly friendly and passionate GM, Valentin, we quickly find ourselves in the first room of our mission. It must be said that no GM has ever welcomed us as warmly as Valentin, even though the intro was entirely in French and had to be translated by one of our team members. His talent for conveying the story through gestures, expressions, and tone was remarkable.
Back to the story. We find ourselves in the first room, following the footsteps of Professor Dragono, who researched the existence of dragons in ancient times. In a library-like setting, we begin our quest, and the story immediately captivates us. The original puzzles bring the theme to life, and everything works perfectly on a technical level. The lovingly and intricately designed room enhances our enjoyment significantly. What’s even better is that this high standard continues and even intensifies as the game progresses. The further we delve into the professor's secret, the more magnificent the scenario becomes. The additional humorous elements ensure that we fondly reminisce about the room and discuss it frequently afterward. Everything culminates in a grand finale, and because it is so fantastic, I won’t spoil it. But one thing is for sure: PLAY THIS ROOM. It is a phenomenal experience. Special thanks to GM Valentin, who made the experience exceptionally memorable!
