Together with your travelling companions, you are sent back to the year 1920, where you explore the abandoned town of Rabenfurt. Your mission is clear: the notorious apothecary Gregory Libavius must be stopped. He is known for his nefarious alchemical machinations and his co-operation with the dreaded «Cult of the Cobra». Your task is to unravel his mysterious plan and thwart his sinister scheme. But beware, the cult is infamous for it’s ruthless and dangerous ways… A mystical adventure full of secrets and unexpected twists awaits you.

Weer eens een cult

Hele toffe lokatie! Ligt op een voormalig industriegebied in Winterthur dat is herontwikkeld, maar nog steeds een industriële sfeer heeft. De escaperoom zit in de oude ondergrondse ruimtes van het complex. Een beetje urbex-achtig. Parkeren kan makkelijk in de parkeergarage om de hoek.
We worden teruggestuurd naar 1920 en daar moeten we de plannen van apotheker Gregory Libavius en z'n mysterieuze Cult of the Cobra zien te stoppen. Deze kamer deed me heel erg denken (net als de andere kamer hier, Memory Archive) aan Kaleidoskop 1963, ook in Zwitserland.
Het decor heeft me positief verrast, wauw. Ook de puzzels vond ik erg leuk: afwisselend, origineel en regelmatig moet je goed zoeken en rondkijken. De gameflow is fijn, op 1 hapering na.
Halverwege neemt het verhaal een (deze keer verwachte) wending. Die plottwist kon me wat minder bekoren. Ik vond het eerste deel zowel qua ruimtes als puzzels duidelijk het sterkste.
