Duistere tijden zijn aangebroken. Het Ministerie van Magische Zaken is gevallen en Heer Duistere Gaze heeft de macht gegrepen. Zijn handlangers – de zogenaamde Duistere Jagers – jagen op alle tovenaars die zich tegen zijn regime verzetten. Jullie zijn leden van de Liga van Sterrenlicht, gearresteerd tijdens een reddingsmissie. Nu zitten jullie in de beruchte Schaduwgevangenis – veroordeeld tot een executie.
