Onze laatste kamer die we spelen in Londen. Onze verwachtingen waren niet heel hoog meer na de 3 kamers op hun andere locatie. Maar deze kamer is wat nieuwe dus wie weet?
We worden hartelijk ontvangen door de host die het goed doet en enthousiast is over de kamer. Na de inleiding de kamer in. De afwerking is al veel beter dan de andere locatie. Maar daar houd het ook wel op. Het is een behoorlijke worsteling om de kamer door te komen. Een aantal puzzels zijn leuk gedaan bij andere totaal niet. Het verhaal is ook niet duidelijk maar uiteindelijk halen we de kamer binnen de tijd. De host doet echt zijn best en dat maakt dan ook weer wat goed.

Atmospheric creepy room
We were tasked to close the Gates of Hell before the demons could escape.
This room is in the basement of the Purgatory bar, close to Victoria Station in London. The GM Dejy was very friendly and helpful considering we booked the room very last minute, like 30 minutes before the start. He was very considerate and gave us time to go to the bathroom before we descended to the depths.
The room itself was very beautifully themed and sculpted. Fun and varied puzzles, and all the while you actually had the feeling you were in fact in a race against time to close the gates of hell and save the world.
This is one I would recommend when you’re in London, although it is definitely not an easy one. Not one to tackle when you’re new to escape games.
We managed to escape and I definitely look forward to their second escape room that is under construction. I will surely come back as soon as it is finished.
