Probably the best room of the venue

I had played some time ago Water Flood and Zombie Apocalypse in Save Amsterdam. After having played a lot more rooms after that, my initials impresison are confirmed. The personnel was friendly and gave us a nice introduction. But the after game service could be substantially improved, for instance discussing the room, selling drinks, etc. In most of the other venues I have played, usually we are the last group and the owners or gamemasters have a lot of patience and engage in nice talks after the game and/or do a walktrough the room. In this venue I always felt the guys were in a rush, and in a way I understand it, because it is a business after all, but as I said it is a huge difference in terms of service to many other rooms.
Concerning the room, they told us this was built by a different person than the other two, but I believe the main aspects I have reviewed for the other rooms apply also here. The atmosphere is not completely accomplished. It is far away from the top rooms of the country, but on the other hand they use sound and light effects and have all kind of decorations. The story and the relationship story puzzles is not always clear, to the point that some puzzles are really nice and have nice effects, but there is no sense of the puzzle connected to the story or theme of the game. On the other hand the topic of most of the puzzles relate somehow to the topic of the game, which I found good.
I think the strongest point of this room, as well as of the other rooms, is that many puzzles have this home made feeling, which even though it can go against the atmosphere, they are really original. Lot of puzzles and resources I have not seen in any other room. The puzzles are good and all in all they make a challenging and fun experience, which is in the end the most important thing in an escape room. I think beginners and more experienced players can be challenged by this room. We played with 4 people in a mixed team and evereyone enjoyed it.

Veel puzzels

Er zitten erg veel puzzels in deze kamer. Daarom moet je wel doorwerken om er op tijd uit te komen. Wij hebben het met 1 hint gered met nog 40 seconden over. De kamer is lineair, maar je hebt wel echt samenwerking nodig. Daardoor blijft iedereen bezig en is het niet storend dat het lineair is. De aankleding is niet bijzonder, het is erg donker en de meubels en attributen zijn niet erg boeiend. Het een en ander is van piepschuim gemaakt en gaat makkelijk stuk. Desondanks hebben we door de hoeveelheid puzzels en de moeilijkheidsgraad ervan wel een leuke ervaring gehad. Een prima kamer om te spelen! Een nadeel is dat er twee puzzels zijn die je alleen kunt oplossen als je Engels kunt lezen en dat het hintsysteem ook alleen in het Engels is. Het personeel is vriendelijk en geïnteresseerd.

Heel veel puzzels

Deze escaperoom is alleen in het engels. De kamer bestaat uit veel ruimte en heel veel puzzels, het is echt flink doorpuzzelen. De afwerking is helaas slecht onderdelen zijn verouderd en aan vervanging toe.
Puzzels zijn wel origineel, volgen elkaar wel allemaal op.
Kamer met 5 gespeeld en dat was prima te doen.

Nadat we twee kamers hadden gedaan wilde we nog graag een andere kamer doen. Na een rondje bellen konden we hier last minute nog terecht. We hebben vriendelijk ontvangen door twee Engelstalige gamemasters. De bedoeling was om te zorgen dat Amsterdam niet werd opgeslokt door een zwart gat. Na wat bloed zweet en tranen is dat ons gelukt. De kamer is eenvoudige afgewerkt, maar er zijn leuke doe-puzzels. Al is het met 5 soms niet iets te druk om te doen.

Wel leuk

Een leuke vermakelijke kamer maar zeker niet de beste die ik ooit heb gespeeld.
