Tyrion, the King’s Hand, ordered the pyromancer to secretly produce a magic potion called Wildfire, a powerful potion that melts and burns everything in it’s way, even on water. We can use it to destroy the enemy fleet!

Als escaperoom fans konden we in Dubrovnik een escaperoom over Game of Thrones natuurlijk niet laten gaan (ook al had ik GoT nooit gezien ?). In een soort half ondergronds en op zondag verder verlaten winkelcentrum werden we opgewacht door enthousiaste gamehost Bogdan om de “Kings landing” te spelen. En met succes! We hadden nog 18 minuten over op de klok! Hoewel de materialen en oppervlakte van de ruimte niet te vergelijken is met onze favoriete escaperooms, was dit een erg vermakelijke escaperoom. Puzzels waren deels verwerkt in het decor en liepen lekker soepel en logisch in elkaar over. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was al helemaal super, met korting door de Dubrovnik-pas waren we 64 euro kwijt.

Game of Trones
Er is maar 1 locatie om te escapen in Dubrovnik, dus die moeten we gedaan hebben. Zoals eigenlijk alles in Dubrovnik, is de kamer in een Game of Thrones thema. Deze serie heb ik niet gezien, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken.
Het is een wat kleine ruimte, maar er zitten wel leuke puzzels in. Het is een lineaire kamer en we zaten er qua flow lekker in. Kamer kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken, maar voor deze locatie is het een prima kamer om je een middag te vermaken!

Voor de fans
Voor de echte Game of Thrones-fans is deze kamer een leuke en herkenbare ervaring.
De setting is grappig en nostalgisch voor wie de serie kent, met leuke verwijzingen naar bekende personages en gebeurtenissen.
De puzzels zijn vrij basic, maar goed in thema en vermakelijk om op te lossen. Verwacht geen technische hoogstandjes of spectaculaire effecten, maar wel een gezellige en thematisch sterke kamer die je even terugbrengt naar Westeros.

Great way to nerd out on vacation
On a very hot summer's day, this escape room located in an airconditioned mall was a welcome distraction. As true Game of Thrones nerds we really enjoyed the detailed puzzles that went deeper into the Game of Thrones lore than we expected. They catered to house histories, different weapons, and of course, extensive dragon egg stories. That said, I think non-fans will still have a fun and succesful time trying to crack them.
We went through the room quite easily, having played multiple escape rooms before. The escape room was small, existing of only two rooms. The second room had a lot of cool effects when you solved a puzzle! Would be great to have a similar mechanic in the first room, where you spend most of your time.
We had a good time, especially for an escape room while on vacation. Big part of the fun was in the nostalgia, so if you're in the city and an escape room and Game of Thrones fan, I'd say this is a great activity.

We saved Kings Landing!
Wanneer je in Dubrovnik bent en Games of Thrones gekeken hebt, kan een bezoekje aan deze thema kamer natuurlijk niet ontbreken. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en gelukkig was het Engels van onze host goed. Na een gezellig praatje konden we beginnen.
Er zitten leuke originele thematische puzzels in en er is aandacht besteed aan het uiterlijk van de kamer. Al is het voor NL begrippen soms wat DIY, maar daar is de prijs van de kamer zeker naar.
We bleven even hangen op een puzzel omdat er wat onderhoud nodig is aan een van de puzzels. Tip voor de eigenaar: voeg duidelijker signalen toe dat een puzzel opgelost is, dat was soms verwarrend.
Al met al een leuke kamer om te doen. Ervaren escapers zullen er wel snel door heen kunnen gaan. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed! Zeker spelen als je zin hebt in een kamer in Dubrovnik.

If you are in Dubrovnik and have watched Games of Thrones, a visit to this theme room cannot be missed. We received a friendly welcome and fortunately our host's English was better then our Slavisch?. After a nice chat we could start.
There are nice original thematic puzzles and attention has been paid to the appearance of the room. Although it is sometimes a bit DIY by Dutch standards, the price of the room certainly reflects that.
We lingered on a puzzle for a while because one of the puzzles needed some maintenance. Tip for the owner: add clearer signals that a puzzle has been solved, which was sometimes confusing.
All in all a fun room to do. Experienced escapers will be able to get through it quickly. Price-quality ratio is good! Definitely play if you fancy a room in Dubrovnik.

Fun Game of Thrones Escape Room
This Escape Room is really recommended for people who like to play (co-operative) games. As Game of Thrones fans this was a really fun way to experience Dubrovnik. I like that the room is also available in English and for 2 persons. The Escape Room is really well decorated and the puzzles are fully in Game of Thrones style. Nevertheless, it is possible to play the room if you haven't seen GOT - all puzzles are in that style but no knowledge is needed to solve them. I love that the room is linear.
