More about Forgotten Carnival
Your best childhood memories took place at the Grand Carnival. The rides, games and shows are still very fresh in your memory. Your grandfather, founder of the Grand Carnival, would take you there as soon as he had the chance. He dedicated his whole life to the Grand Carnival and carried it on his shoulders for decades. He was so proud of it. Unfortunately, for health reasons, your grandfather had to close the Carnival a few years ago. During your most recent discussion with him, an idea suddenly came to you. You are going to try to reopen the Grand Carnival! Nothing would make grandpa feel better! You then gather a few family members and put your plan into action. And since you might be entering the Carnival for the last time, why not take advantage of the facilities that are still functional? But don't waste too much time, because in 60 minutes, at midnight, the electricity that powers the Carnival will be cut off forever, making your mission completely impossible.

Dit circus ben je liever kwijt dan rijk
#385 Lost Circus
De 32e kamer op onze trip naar Canada waar we ongeveer 40 kamers spelen in 2 weken. Na een tussenpauze van het schrijven, kan ik nu mentaal stabiel de laatste (en spoiler-alert: beste :-P) reviews schrijven!
De dag hiervoor speelden we tot laat en de kamers in Sherbrooke hadden we eigenlijk last-minute bijgeboekt omdat we benieuwd waren naar de andere vestigingen van Escaparium. Hierdoor was de nacht kort en vooral de rit heel erg lang. Voor de autorit hoef je deze kamer niet te laten liggen, want wat is Canada prachtig en wat was deze rit enorm mooi. Maar lekker wakker na de prachtige rit kwamen we aan in Sherbrooke, eerst bij de foute locatie maar uiteindelijk bij de goede. Let wel op, dit is een redelijke interessante buurt waar je niet zomaar je auto wil laten staan. Goed oppassen dus!
Het thema en verhaal was de voornaamste reden waarom we hierheen wilden, een voorproefje voor Magnifico. Dat het een circus is, ja dat is duidelijk, en het voelde ook wel enorm verloren, dus de naam klopt! Ik weet niet of dit een pluspunt of minpunt voor de kamer is, aangezien het ook niet echt tot leven kwam en het wat saaiig aanvoelde.
De puzzels waren best wel oke. Beetje basic en vooral spelletjes, maar verder niks mis mee.
Het decor is net zoals het thema; lost. Saai en er gebeurt weinig interessants, maar het is wel een circus...
De flow was prima, niet bijzonder.
Als je een mooie autorit wilt kun je zeker vanuit Saint-Jean naar Sherbrooke rijden, maar sla deze kamer dan maar over, hier mis je niks aan, hoogstens je auto als je weer buiten komt.
