In 1986, as a result of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station, an exclusion zone was formed within a radius of 30 km. Now it is filled with various anomalies that contradict the laws of physics. It is known that they create unusual artifacts.

According to our sensors, the rarest artifact “Compass”, which allows you to break the time anomaly, is now in one of the apartments in Pripyat. Your task is to find it as soon as possible, and leave the apartment with the help of this artifact. Scientists say that the anomaly will last for an hour, after which it will disappear without a trace, along with the artifact and its victims.

Stevige puzzelkamer!

Escape trip Riga – kamer 2/36

Dag 2 in Riga. We wandelen vanuit het hotel naar de escaperoom en nu valt pas echt op wat een mooie stad Riga is. Proper, prachtige gebouwen, vriendelijke mensen. Onze host laat ons via WhatsApp weten dat ze autopech heeft. We hebben dus een half uur langer om wat in de stad rond te slenteren en dat is zeker geen straf.
Bij aankomst kunnen we wel direct van start. We spelen hier 2 kamers en starten bij Chernobyl. Hoewel ik hier vooraf verwachtte dat we in een oude kerncentrale terecht zou komen, maken we echter onze intrede in een oud Sovjetkantoor uit de jaren stillekes. Alles wat we zien, ademt hier “het oude communisme”. De puzzels zijn redelijk pittig en al van bij de start vergapen we ons op informatie die we op dat moment nog niet nodig blijken te hebben. Daardoor komen we maar heel traag op gang. Een paar keer moet de host ons op het juiste pad helpen. Ook nu is er veel verwarring; grappig, maar gelukkig niet frustrerend. Sommige puzzels kosten amper moeite, maar een heel aantal bezorgt ons wel wat kopzorgen. Dankzij onze stevige eindsprint kunnen we het artefact bemachtigen. Missie geslaagd.
