Pittige puzzelkamer

Escape trip Riga – kamer 18/36

Na de ontgoochelde Illusion-kamer mogen we nu wat gaan griezelen bij de “Fear Collector”. We komen in een redelijk donkere setting terecht en hebben van de host een tablet meegekregen. Hierop moeten we antwoorden van de puzzels invullen. We kunnen ook tips vragen via dezelfde tablet. Zelf zijn we niet geneigd om de tips te gebruiken en het duurt daarom erg lang voor we enige voortgang kunnen maken. Het idee is best wel ok. We hebben via de tablet contact met het hoofdbureau en moeten de gevraagde info aan hen doorspelen. De inkleding van het geheel is best “spannend” te noemen. Je hebt continu het gevoel dat de maniak elk moment kan binnenvallen. De algemene setting, het bloed aan de muren, alles geeft aan dat je hier best zo snel mogelijk kan weglopen. Inkleding is dus zeker geslaagd. De puzzels zijn zeer pittig en af en toe moeten we echt wel het hoofdbureau via de tablet om hulp vragen. Er is ook wat lees/onderzoekswerk bij de fiches van de slachtoffers en dat maakt het allemaal wat lastiger. Vaak is het niet duidelijk welke info we ervan nodig hebben, waardoor we al snel helemaal op een verkeerd spoor zitten. Gelukkig kunnen we in de laatste kamer het gaspedaal volledig induwen, zodat we met nog een klein minuutje op de klok de kamer kunnen verlaten.

Conclusie: pittige puzzelkamer in een ietwat enge setting.
