Eenvoudig, primitief, slecht onderhouden… maar wel afwisselde en kloppende puzzels.
Denk een van de eerdere/oorspronkelijke escape rooms… inmiddels ingehaald door de techniek

we had fun

Tiny reception, enthusiastic host, quickly started to play. First room went quick, second one a bit more tricky. Many practical puzzles you need to do with your hands which is nice. Reasonable attempt to create the atmosphere. Although this is not a very sophisticated room we had fun.

enjoyable experience

Simple but nicely set up room with a realistic medieval atmosphere. Puzzles are very hands on - it is nice to use the hands for something more heavy than a mouse from time to time. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Too simple but good for beginners or family with kids

We were enthusiastically received by a girl. The reception area was way too small, there was no place to sit there, and there were no lockers, so you could take your things (phone, wallet, etc) into the room. She said we could use the calculator of the phone if we wanted to. I prefere the policy of the vast majority of the rooms, where nothing is allowed, if something is needed it is in the room. Using the calculator in a cell phone in a MEDIEVAL room, kind of kills the mood. She gave us something to wear on top of our clothes (medieval costume) and accompanied us into the room, where she explained things. In my opinion the game master should not enter the room. If the explanations are given while you are already discovering the room with your eyes, it ruins that surprise effect you get when you enter on your own. Due to the nature of the puzzles there were locks with no touch stickers on it, while it is good to know that they do not form part of the game, that also does not contribute to the feeling in the room.
The room as such had some nice decoration elements, that matched the theme, even though the finishing of many of the puzzles (the appearance) was missing the touch to make them credible, but all in all the atmosphere is nice.
This was the easiest room I have done so far (number 19), one reason for it, it that the puzzles were quite linear. We did it with 4 people, gladly we were not 5, which is the maximum number of people. The puzzles as such were quite nice, not very difficult, more of the interactive kind and with collaborative elements. I liked many of the puzzles used in the room and found some of them original. It was very clear what to do.
Even though I escaped other rooms with quite some time of the clock, this was not only the fastest but also had a little bit a feelin of "That was it?". I think also because there were not really surprises or twists during the whole game. To sum it up, it is not a bad room, but not for the escape room enthusiasts with several escapes on the back. I think for families with kids, it is quite ideal as many puzzles involve doing rather than solving mental puzzles, also the costumes and the decoration would made also a nice experience for kids. I think also that if this would have been my first escape room I would have liked many of the things and would have been surprised, so I think also for beginners it is a good chamber.

Pretty good room with simple but nice puzzles. I am sure it would be very good for kids.

Goed thema en creatieve puzzels (thinking out of the box). Ik denk wel dat je met meer dan 4 mensen elkaar op de tenen trapt. Het is ons met z'n tweeën gelukt om binnen 50 minuten te ontsnappen, volgens de host een record. Hele aardige host die heel enthousiast over de kamer vertelde. We komen zeker terug voor hun tweede kamer (de jungle)

Vol 'doe'puzzels

Ik had hier geen gevoel in een escape room te zitten, maar de kamer was wel gevuld met leuke 'doe'puzzels. De puzzels waren makkelijk en daarom is deze kamer denk ik leuk voor kinderen. We mochten onze telefoons meenemen, zodat we dingen konden opzoeken als we het niet wisten. Er zat één puzzel in waar je zulke specifieke kennis voor moest hebben, dat de puzzel niet op te lossen was zonder hint (of in dit geval telefoon...). Deze kamer is vele malen beter dan hun Jungle kamer, maar geen escape room te noemen. Eerder een middeleeuwse spelletjeskamer.

Ik vond de aankledi g in dezed kamer erg mooi!
Ik waande mij in een kasteelkamer.
Toffe puzzels!

Prima kamer maar niet spectaculair.

Mijn eerste escape room was dit. Toentertijd heel erg gaaf, maar nu 18 kamers verder... zou het nu een 6,5 geven. Puzzels zijn leuk, maar het is geen WOW kamer.

Een kamer voor beginnende escapers

De puzzels zijn best wel creatief, maar je hebt geen seconde het gevoel dat je in een ridderachtig verhaal zit. Ondanks de muziek en de verkleedpartijtjes zit je voor je gevoel in het atelier van een houtbewerker. Maar wellicht heeft de kamer inmiddels een upgrade gehad.
