At long last, Virgílio Marçal has found a clue to the whereabouts of his friend Lorenzo Lopes. In addition to the path described on the map, Lorenzo wrote a cryptic message:
"Legend has it that, many centuries ago, a treasure was stolen from the Spaniards, but all who touched their gold had a terrible fate. To avoid greater misfortune, the treasure was hidden in a Lost Island in the Atlantic, never to be found again. If you're seeing this message, it's because you found my map. I don't believe in legends, so I'm going to find this treasure, no matter what it takes... "
"So that's why Lorenzo disappeared," thought Virgílio. "No time to waste... My friend needs me more than ever!"
Without any thought to what he's leaving behind, Virgílio and is partners buy a plane ticket that will take them as close as possible to this Lost Island.
From that point on, he must sail in a sea full of dangers... If everything goes well, he'll be able to get there in less than 24 hours...

fun and engaging
After doing The Heist we decided to try another room. This one felt more playful with some puzzles I haven't really seen in other escape rooms. The variety of challenges kept us engaged and we thought it was a bit harder comparing to the heist

An adventurous and immersive escape room with a great mix of puzzles
We played The Lost Island as a group of three and escaped with some time left, using a few hints along the way. The room feels very immersive, with a decoration that really fits the theme. What I liked most was the variety of puzzles: some logical, some more visual, and even a few that required a bit of dexterity. It kept the whole team engaged and made the adventure feel fresh and exciting.

Leuk om te doen als je in Lissabon bent
Bij het plannen van een citytrip naar Lissabon hebben wij ook even gekeken of we een escaperoom konden spelen, en zijn zo bij Puzzle Room uitgekomen. We speelden daar eerst deze kamer, The Lost Island (de nieuwere van de 2) en kregen daarna 20% korting om nog eens langs te komen, wat we dus ook op het einde van onze trip hebben gedaan om hun andere kamer (Heist) te spelen.
Dit is de nieuwere kamer van de twee die we gespeeld hebben, en je merkt al wel wat vooruitgang in de puzzels. Veel minder slotjes, wat automatische dingen en meer variëteit. Het thema is duidelijk uit de aankleding maar verwacht daar niet te veel. Alles is wel zeer goed onderhouden, nergens gebruikssporen te zien, alles werkt goed. Dit was een leuk uurtje puzzelen voor ons, en de eigenaar is echt superenthousiast en vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader als je naar Lissabon gaat.
