Een superleuke, spannende ervaring die meer voelde als een mysterie oplossen dan een traditionele escaperoom
We deden Expedition Bermuda met z’n vieren, waarvan twee zonder eerdere ervaring met escaperooms. Ondanks onze beperkte ervaring, maar mét onze fanatieke spelletjesmentaliteit, waren we direct helemaal in het verhaal gezogen. De ervaring voelde niet als een standaard escaperoom, maar echt als het oplossen van een mysterie, compleet met gave special effects en een spannende sfeer.
Onderweg hadden we een paar hints nodig, maar dat voelde nooit storend, het hielp ons juist in de flow te blijven. Uiteindelijk wisten we met nog maar 10 seconden op de klok te ontsnappen, wat de adrenaline extra hoog maakte. De begeleiding was ook top: vriendelijk en betrokken, zowel voor- als achteraf, en achter de schermen.
Een echte aanrader voor zowel beginnende als ervaren puzzelaars!

A truly immersive and unforgettable experience!
The Brotherhood stood out from the very start, even before stepping inside the actual room. The attention to detail is absolutely top notch, setting the tone for what's to come. The puzzles were challenging enough to keep us engaged but never frustrating, and most importantly, they felt natural and perfectly woven into the story and setting.
We were a mixed group of experienced and first-time players, and everyone had a great time. It’s rare to find an escape room that hits the sweet spot for all levels, but The Brotherhood pulled it off effortlessly. Highly recommended!

A memorable concept with room for improvement
Prison Escape in Utrecht is definitely a unique experience, and it starts off strong. Arriving by prison bus and the immersive lead-up to entering the prison cells really sets the mood and builds anticipation. The atmosphere in those first moments was excellent.
Once inside, however, things became a bit unclear. It was hard to understand what was expected of us, and the experience quickly turned chaotic. With people running through the hallways and no clear storyline or objective, it was difficult to stay engaged. The dynamic between participants who were fully immersed and others who were just running around laughing made it feel a bit disjointed.
Things picked up again towards the end during the escape moment, which brought back some adrenaline. Still, the conclusion lacked that impactful “finale” feeling. It ended rather abruptly without a clear sense of achievement.
While I had high hopes going in, and parts of the experience were very well done, it didn’t fully live up to expectations. That said, the immersive start and unique setting still left me with an overall positive impression.
