Hi, I am Carina from Germany and played over 250 rooms within Europe with my husband.
For us one of the best hobbies in the world.
Besides that I like to draw hyperrealistic pencil drawings.

More than three years later, my husband and I finally returned to Down the Hatch, excited to experience their new three-hour epic, Sleep.
The game started right on time and immediately immersed us in a meticulously crafted world that created an atmosphere which was slightly dark, yet incredibly beautiful.
The use of both direct and indirect lighting, combined with perfectly timed sound effects and epic music, instantly reminded us of the style we had already fallen in love with in Molly's Game. It felt like Loran's unmistakable signature as a creator.
What he has built here—the sheer level of craftsmanship and attention to detail poured into an entirely original world—is simply unmatched.
You find yourself getting lost in the scenery, admiring the carefully placed props, and taking in those distinctive scents that seem to exist only in experiences like this.
Several times I caught myself thinking, "That's the smell of an escape room," and it instantly filled me with excitement again. Fellow enthusiasts will probably know exactly what I mean—even though I couldn't describe what it actually smells like. It's pleasant, and it creates a very special feeling that I've only ever experienced in immersive escape rooms like this.
Speaking of escape rooms—that's something this game proudly stays true to. At its core, Sleep is still very much an escape room in the classic sense, packed with creative mechanical, technical, and hands-on puzzles that all fit naturally and seamlessly into the setting.
We played as a team of two and had plenty to do throughout the experience, yet we never felt truly stuck. Whenever necessary, subtle hints were delivered at just the right moment, keeping the game flowing without breaking the immersion.
We're usually not the biggest fans of technical puzzles, but Sleep managed to make this type of challenge feel completely natural. Nothing ever felt illogical, confusing, or even remotely frustrating.
The acting was incredibly intense, and as we gradually uncovered the story behind everything, the emotional impact reached an entirely new level. Fans of Molly's Game will also appreciate the references to familiar characters, which make the connection between the two stories even more rewarding.
What fascinated me most was one particular element of the room. Through countless tiny mechanisms, Loran managed to breathe so much life into it that it almost felt real.
In the end, Sleep is another outstanding creation that perfectly combines the puzzle design of classic escape rooms with the acting, set design, and sound design of truly immersive experiences.
Sadly, those three hours flew by.
A wholehearted recommendation for this incredible experience! ❤️
