The Runes of Odin

When Odin was young he desired power and knew the fastest way to reach his goal was through knowledge. Piercing his eye and hanging himself above a well at the base of Yggdrasil he stared into the pool until the runes found him worthy and presented themselves to him. This is one of the ways that magik slipped into this world.

The power of the runes has been coveted for generations and many have searched for Odin’s Well to gain power for themselves. Cormac Dunsmore - an academic rather than field expert - was sent to locate it and never returned. Decades passed and Lillian Marsh discovered an old file and came up short.
