Zodra je de puzzelkamer binnenkomt zul je je realiseren dat het interieur toebehoorde aan een excentriekeling. De eigenaar van het appartement is een kunstenaar, maar geen gewone. Hij had een uniek vermogen – want hij wist hoe hij de werkelijkheid kon veranderen met behulp van zijn eigen kunst. De verhalen die hij in zijn schilderijen verbeeldde werden waar, terwijl zijn sculpturen tot leven kwamen. Op een dag verdween de kunstenaar echter. Nadat je de deur hebt gesloten, moet je ontdekken wat er met hem is gebeurd en de enige uitweg ... is om dit mysterie te ontrafelen.

Not good...

Escapetrip Polen mei 2023 - Kamer 4/43

Helaas hebben ze hier lastminute een probleem met de elektronica van één van de geboekte kamers. Hierdoor kunnen we de kamer “Vampire Crypt” helaas niet spelen. We starten dus met de volgende op de planning: Changing reality.
De ontvangst is hartelijk en na een ontspannende babbel met de host kunnen we starten. Bij het binnenkomen wordt ik niet bepaald overvallen door een enorm enthousiast gevoel. Zelden zo een lege kamer gezien. Ok, we zitten hier met een minimalistisch thema, maar toch. Ik heb hier een beetje een ‘kringloopwinkelsamenraapselgevoel’…
Op zich zijn de puzzels duidelijk en zeker niet al te moeilijk, maar van het geheel word ik helaas niet echt vrolijk. Bepaalde onderdelen van het spel zijn wel leuk gedaan en na het betreden van de tweede ruimte wordt de bedoeling ook helemaal duidelijk. Maar als we de eindpuzzel dan ook nog eens zeer onorthodox oplossen, staan we na een half uurtje alweer buiten.

Het idee van de kamer is goed en de uitwerking is ok, maar dit was toch niet helemaal mijn ding…
