Het is eens wat anders

Het thema van deze kamer sprak me initieel niet zo erg aan. Ik ben dan ook niet zo vertrouwd met het verhaal over Gullivers reis. Toch is het een leuk idee om zijn avonturen opnieuw te gaan beleven. Bij het binnenkomen valt de inkleding van de ruimte direct op. Deze spreekt namelijk direct aan en ook het thema van de kamer komt hier mooi tot zijn recht. We leren perfect de avonturen kennen en worden als het ware meegezogen in zijn verhaal. In de eerste ruimte gaat het vlotjes, maar in het tweede stuk loopt het puzzelmatig volledig vast. Er zijn slechts een tweetal puzzels, maar wat we ook proberen, we geraken absoluut niet verder. Gelukkig kan onze host ons tot tweemaal toe op het juiste spoor zetten. Als deze obstakels verwijderd zijn, komen we in het rijk van de reuzen terecht. Hoewel er weinig in de kamer staat, spreken de gigantisch stoel én tafel enorm tot de verbeelding. Dat kent ook zijn vervolg in ons puzzelgedrag, want we kunnen het reisdagboek vlot vervolledigen. Mission geslaagd, maar zonder hulp halverwege hadden we er wellicht nog altijd in vastgezeten…
