Your only hope of escaping is to work together and find your way to the Wizard of Oz, who can send Dorothy home and help you escape as well. But be careful! The Wicked Witch of the West knows about your plan and will do everything in her power to stop you. She has set traps, puzzles, and magical obstacles that you must overcome before time runs out!

Voor het avondprogramma gaan we naar locatie 4 van PIN Escape. Daar staan nog drie kamers op het menu. We worden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door onze sympathieke host, kunnen plaatsnemen in de ruime ontvangstruimte en krijgen direct iets te drinken aangeboden. Klaar om aan de eerste opdracht te starten.
Na de verschillende horror-, gevangenis- en detectivekamers is The Wizard of Oz een verrassend aangename afwisseling. Deze kamer, waarvan de muren volledig bedekt zijn met kunstgras, zorgt meteen voor een lichtere en speelsere sfeer dan de meeste escape rooms die we hier in Belgrado al gedaan hebben. Op het eerste zicht lijkt het een kamer voor kinderen te zijn, maar de puzzels zullen verraden dat dat niet zo is. Vanaf het begin merk je dat veel aandacht is gegaan naar de aankleding. De ruimte is kleurrijk uitgewerkt en bevatten verschillende herkenbare elementen uit het verhaal. Inderdaad, de kamer bestaat slechts uit één grote ruimte en iets wat de grootte van een toilethokje heeft. Erg veel ruimte is er dus niet. Goed dat we maar met z’n tweeën spelen.
De puzzels zijn netjes geïntegreerd in het geheel. De moeilijkheidsgraad is gemiddeld, al denken we bij sommige puzzels veel te ver out of the box. Toch blijft de flow in de kamer zeer goed en doet één van de puzzels ons wel heel erg lachen. Leuk als makers toch wat inventief zijn en wat humor in een kamer steken.
Enkel bij de eindpuzzel met een richtingslot zit écht wel ruis. Ik heb achteraf de indruk dat de host ook niet erg goed weet wat nu exact de juiste oplossing is.
Desondanks heb ik me hier goed geamuseerd!
