Murder at the Masonic Lodge is een soort detectiveverhaal, waarbij we een crime scene moeten onderzoeken om zo de dader van de moord te ontmaskeren. Als we de kamer binnenkomen, merken we heel snel dat er aan het bureel een pop zit. Dit is blijkbaar onze grandmaster en die kan ons nog van pas komen als we vastzitten met een puzzel. De aankleding past perfect bij het thema: symbolen, documenten en verborgen details; het past allemaal binnen het verhaal van een geheim genootschap. De puzzels zijn gevarieerd en niet super moeilijk. Er zijn eigenlijk niet echt momenten waarop we helemaal vastlopen, de flow zit dus zeker goed. Enkel in het tweede gedeelte komen we een bizarre puzzel tegen. De helft van de puzzel lossen we vlot op, maar het andere gedeelte is wel erg moeilijk. Toch kunnen we met wat trial and error die hersenbreker alsnog oplossen. De kamer eindigt nog met een kleine plottwist. Altijd leuk als ze je op deze manier toch nog weten te verrassen…
