Heb je zin om in Berlijn een kamer te spelen omdat je escape rooms leuk vindt? Dan is deze kamer daar prima geschikt voor. Verwacht geen hightech special effect. De kamer is wel erg rommelig, veel spullen die je helemaal niet nodig hebt. Ontvangst en begeleiding waren goed.

Geweldige kamer, minder leuke aankomst
Toen we aankwamen bij House of Tales, wisten we niet wat ons te wachten zou staan. Door de wachtkamer, aankomst en de rest van het gebouw hadden we niet heel veel hoop voor de escaperoom zelf. Gelukkig was dat niet zo. Het verhaal was heel tof bedacht en alles in de kamer paste goed bij het thema. Het is echt alsof je terug gaat in de tijd en bij Checkpoint Charlie bent. Ik kan natuurlijk niet veel zeggen, maar zorg ervoor dat je goed bent in trappen lopen. Want dat ga je veel doen. Wel gingen een paar dingen niet goed, zoals een deur die eigenlijk normaal automatisch open zou moeten gaan. In plaats hiervan moesten we ertegen duwen om het open te maken. Ook zitten er, naar mijn mening, veel te veel red harrings (objecten die niks met de raadsels te maken hebben) in de escape room. Door deze foutjes en red harrings hebben we het niet gehaald. Wij hebben het met z'n tweeën proberen te voltooien, maar drie mensen is het beste aantal.
