It’s the year 2067. Humankind did a great job at decimating itself, and everything scientists have been warning us about for centuries has become harsh reality. Weatherconditions became more extree, resources more scarce, and at last not much was left of the earth we used to know. You survived the numerous attempts of mother nature on your life and didn’t starve, but that is basically everything you have going for you. You have been roaming the wasteland for weeks in hope of finding another living soul out here. Nobody can really tell how many humans survived the apocalypse, but you are not ready to give up hope just yet. Just as you wonder if you are turning in circles, you spot something behind a huge pile of trash and metal. First you think your mind is playing tricks on you, but as you get closer you realize: that is a door! You push down on the rusty handle and step into the the darkness…

De ontvangst ruimte van Final Escape is sfeervol, er was geen ruimte om even te zitten, maar je werd gelijk opgevangen door een goed Engels sprekende host. Hij was vriendelijk en gaf ons een korte introductie voor het verhaal. Eenmaal in de kamer, was het ook een erg goed aangeklede ruimte. Het verhaal was prima, past goed bij de kamer. Er waren veel items dat mogelijk met de puzzels te maken hebben, dus veel ruis tijdens de start. Het was lastig te beginnen, want we wisten niet waar; sommige puzzels moesten nog geactiveerd worden. Met hier en daar een hint kwamen we er wel door heen. Alleen bij twee puzzels had je geduld nodig, en dat is slecht in een kamer. Er moest een luikje dicht, en dan 10 sec wachten, zonder dat dat ergens aangegeven werd. Door gebruikerssporen, wist je niet goed of je de juiste elementen bij elkaar had voor de puzzel. Jammer. Daarna ook nog enkele vage puzzels, die met onduidelijke audiofragmenten te maken hadden. Sfeer was top, ruis en onduidelijke puzzels maakte het een net boven voldoende kamer.
