According to the legend, it happend around the year 1200 in a Prague Benedictine monastery. The monk condemned to be walled up alive had to write all of the known knowledge of mankind in one book, during one night. Probably he succeeded only with the help of the devil, who is strangely shown on page 84.

Unfortunately, it was 8 important pages cut out during old times. Nobody knows exactly why and what it contained. But recently in deep of Prague Black Rose crypt, these mysterious sheets was discovered…

De escape room zit in een overdekt winkelcentrum, waardoor de locatie heel weinig charme heeft. Ik was behoorlijk huiverig voor de kwaliteit van de escape room, maar dit viel mee. Het is zeker geen pareltje wat betreft het neerzetten van sfeer en de aankleding. Ze hebben de sfeer niet weten door te voeren in de volledige kamer, maar krijgt zeker een ruimvoldoende.
De kamer heeft een goede flow, omdat het een lineaire kamer is en ze je ook meenemen in de juiste volgorde. De puzzels zijn van een gemiddeld niveau. Als je veel ervaring hebt is het een relatief makkelijke kamer en zou ik de kamer met maximaal twee personen spelen, anders maximaal met vier personen, als ik kijk naar de grootte van de kamer.
Wat verder positief is opgevallen is dat dit de eerste ontvangstruimte mét kluisjes was. Het nadeel van het ontvangst was dat we een te lange PowerPointpresentatie moesten bekijken met alle regeltjes.
