Are you a regular escaper and think you've seen it all? Ever since you played Molly's game, has your life been devoid of meaning, and you've been scouring the world in search of the holy grail - a room that can stand up to comparison?
Look no further! Pray, a brand-new venue that only opened a few weeks ago, is to be put urgently on your list!

Pray is the company third venue, and they've come a long way since "Bella ciao".
Everything in this room is done to perfection.
First and foremost, the set is grandiose and spacious. A bit like "the movies", everything here is done to perfection, demonstrating that you don't need 10 wow effects per room to achieve excellence.
Music, lighting, the temperature of certain rooms - everything is done to immerse you in the story that awaits you.

It all begins as we enter the reception area, where we have an appointment with an employee to attend a funeral service. However, the first twist in the story occurs before we even get there. From that moment on, we're in for a masterpiece of storytelling that will be carried out in exemplary fashion throughout our adventure.

Please don't choose the version without an actor. This character is such an important part of the story that you'll miss out on the very essence of this room. And for the more fearful, despite the heavy atmosphere, nothing is really done to scare you.

The story, the centerpiece of this magnificent edifice, is full of unexpected and unpredictable twists and turns.
We find here the ingredients that made Molly's game such a success, but without the narrative complexity of the latter. There's no need for a second explanation after the game to understand all the ins and outs of this story, as everything is clear and reveals itself little by little over the course of the game.
The ending that awaits us, though it takes shape throughout our adventure, is unexpected and extremely touching.

As for the puzzles, you can find a majority of manipulations all very well integrated into the story and interesting to carry out. They gradually lead us to discover the ins and outs of the story we're living.

When the epilogue finally unfolds before our eyes, it's finally time to return to reality and leave this incredible place. Or is it... ? One last pleasant surprise awaits you at the end of the game, and you may find yourself staying a little longer than expected beneath the forecourt of this magnificent church...

As with any excellent venue created in-house by an enthusiast, allow at least an extra 1/2 hour to chat with the manager. He's a wonderful host, and we had a great time chatting with him.

In short, go for it! This venue undoubtedly deserves a terpeca top 3 ranking, and for my part, it has probably just taken first place in my personal ranking, ahead of Molly's game, The non believers and the other 123 rooms I've played.
I mean, I even created an account only to review Pray on this website although I usually use a French app to track my escape rooms.
