Das Amulett (Part 3 of 3)

66 Minuten
Posted on: 2022 august 24

The crowning finale of the Madita Trilogy

The amulet is the crowning finale of the Madita trilogy and should never be played as a stand-alone room. Only in combination with the other two rooms, Madita's Secret and Trophy Collector, it unfolds its full, especially emotional effect. For me, 66 Minutes has managed this time to tell a story that is comprehensible and you don't feel like you have to go deeper into the story surrounding the ASF. 66 Minutes has created a really great immersive adventure with a creepy factor that can be classified as slightly above average. Everything meshes here that needs to mesh in a space like this. Sound, lighting and timing create a successful illusion.

Skurrilum Quality at it's best!

Ernie Hudson and the Zoo of Death has also shown that you can rely on the quality of Skurrilum's adventures. Few rooms in Germany manage to present players with such a dense and believable story as here. Despite the ghost hunter theme, The Zoo of Death isn't really scary and offers a pleasant level of suspense found in The Three Question Marks.

However, I must admit that Ernie Hudson and the Weeping Woman is the stronger adventure in this series for me. It was, in part, even better thought out in terms of story and puzzles. But the bottom line is that you can't go wrong with any of the rooms.

The room is suitable for beginners and advanced players alike. For an optimal playing experience, however, there should be no more than four players. The room is not barrier-free - you should be quite mobile and not physically impaired.

Awesome Experience!

Brandon Darkmoor and the Mysterious Disappearance of Anna Morana is unlike many other Escape Rooms we and you know. Nothing really feels familiar, and yet it is. This is not a room for Escape Room purists who want to work their way from castle to castle. Brandon Darkmoor focuses more than ever on the actual narrative of the room. Everything feels organic and almost realistic in the given environment. Puzzles are plots. Clues are plots. Everything is natural action. You're doing a job like any ghost hunter would do.

Just mind-blowing back in the days!

With Ghost Hunter Ernie Hudson, Skurrilum has once again managed to positively surprise us and create a truly captivating experience that will not only be fun for audio drama fans. Unlike other rooms, the focus here is on the story, to which the puzzles are appropriately subordinated. Even though you only have 60 minutes, the goal here is not to escape as quickly as possible. Rather, you should enjoy the story of Ernie Hudson and his case and let yourself fall into their world. For those who love stories and want to experience them, Ghost Hunter Ernie Hudson is just the right room. All other Escape enthusiasts should still take a look into the world of Ernie Hudson to see that Escape Rooms can be more than a loose string of puzzles, defusing the umpteenth bomb, breaking out of a prison or escaping from an Egyptian tomb.

Guschis geile Grotte

Skurrilum
Posted on: 2022 august 24

Adults only!

If you are over 18 years old and have no fear of contact with the frivolous and bizarre sides of the Reeperbahn, we can unreservedly recommend Guschi's horny grotto. The room is suitable for beginners and professionals alike. Even though some of the puzzles are not particularly challenging for professionals, the setting and the interactive actions of the gamemaster guarantee fun despite everything. It is not a typical Escape Room, but an extension of the game, where the focus is on experiencing the story. From start to finish, you can tell that the room was designed by people who have storytelling in their blood. The entire team at Skurrilum exudes a passion that we've rarely experienced before.
